Jordan Thiery lives in North Dakota with his wife and four children. He is a part-time author and works full-time with Amazon.

He loves being a dad and many of the stories in “Our Greatest Enemy” pull from his experiences as both a son and new father. He grew up in the 90s reading “Goosebumps” and “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”, which, along with his mother reading to him, led to his burgeoning fondness for dark fiction and writing stories.

His favorite Goosebumps book as a kid was “The Werewolf in the Living Room”. Today, his favorite authors today include: Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Stephen King, and some of his favorite books include: “The Shining”, “Books of Blood” (all of them), and “I Am Legend”.

“Our Greatest Enemy: Five Horror Stories on Fatherhood” was his first published work, followed by his second collection of short stories “Flesh Party: Five Monstrous Horror Stories”. He is currently working on his debut novel “Id Unshackled”, and his third collection of short stories, both available in 2025.
